'Flower Power' Toscana IGT Rosè Podere 414 2023

Rosato Flower Power is a fresh and fragrant wine produced by the Podere 414 winery. With a name that undoubtedly pays homage to the hippy culture of the sixties, it is possible to deduce the counter-current philosophy of this wine, which aims to counteract conformity in viticulture. One of the main aspects in which this approach is found is in the work in the vineyard, where organic farming is followed. A similar argument applies to winemaking, which takes place with the traditional method of bloodletting. The Sangiovese grapes are placed inside a special steel vat, where they macerate for a few hours until the must is tapped from the base. The subsequent refinement period is short and takes place exclusively in concrete tanks. It is an immediate rosé wine, which invites conviviality without particular pretensions. Thanks to the original production method, the varietal scents of the grapes fully emerge. The Flower Power Rosato is specially designed to be enjoyed when young, to enhance the mineral and savory notes.
