Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

The Monica di Sardegna DOC Perdera wine is a historic label from the famous Serdiana Argiolas winery, one of the most important producers in Sardinia, known and appreciated both beyond the borders of the island and those of the peninsula. This red comes from the vinification of pure Monica grapes, a native variety grown in the hilly vineyards of the Sisini countryside, in the Trexenta sub-region. The vines are planted on calcareous-clayey soils which, in addition to enjoying the winds, benefit from the excellent exposure. Monica di Sardegna DOC Perdera takes shape from a manual harvest carried out in the early hours of the morning, after which the grapes are transported to the cellar, where they undergo fermentation for a variable period ranging from 8 to 10 days. At the end of which, the wine is first aged in cement tanks, then in French oak barrels, finally it is bottled and marketed. The finished product is a spicy red, with a round sip. A perfectly balanced label, which is characterized both by its freshness and by its particular softness. An intense wine with excellent persistence.
