Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Ballon
Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Among the splendid hills of the Langhe, in the province of Cuneo, the Barolo DOCG Liste is born in the Borgogno cellar. The company, which has always been dedicated to sustainability, belongs to one of the oldest winegrowing families in Piedmont and owns about 30 hectares of land planted with vines. The Nebbiolo grapes, avoiding the addition of herbicides and chemical fertilizers, are harvested manually and fermented without the addition of yeasts. The refinement takes place in oak barrels for about 4 years, and then continues in the bottle for another 6 months. Only elegant, full-bodied and refined wines originate from a unique area such as the Langhe, characterized by a favorable climate and calcareous / clayey territory and in fact the Barolo Liste DOCG is a noble wine that possesses all the peculiar characteristics of this magnificent land. It is an important, sumptuous wine, ready to be enjoyed, but which can rest in the cellar for a few years, because it has excellent longevity.
