The Monteraponi farm was founded in Radda in Chianti in 1974. Since then, the 12 hectares of vines located on the wonderful Sienese hills have produced only four types of grapes: trebbiano, sangiovese, canaiolo and canarino. From the union of the last three, Baron'Ugo Toscana IGT Monteraponi 2013 is born (90% Sangiovese, 7% Canaiolo, 3% Canarino. The IGT denomination indicates a well-defined area for the production of this wine, which has obtained a score of 3 out of 3, on the Gambero Rosso 2013 Guide. The fermentation of Baron'Ugo Toscana IGT Monteraponi 2013 takes place spontaneously in vitrified cement tanks, without any addition of yeasts and without temperature control. at 36 months, it takes place first in oak barrels, and then ends in the bottle for another 6 months.The intense hints of red fruits and its floral tones, the balanced tannic taste and the excellent persistence make the Baron'Ugo Toscana IGT Monteraponi 2013 is one of the most appreciated wines of the Chianti Classico area.
