Grechetto Salviano Umbria PGI is a fresh and fragrant white wine, made by the Salviano Estate with the intention of enhancing an area that has always been linked to viticulture. The soils of the hills surrounding Lake Corbara are of tuffaceous origin and give the grapes structure and minerality. Here the Grechetto grapes are grown, an autochthonous vine common in central Italy. In respect of almost perfect natural conditions, the work in the vineyard is carried out in a sustainable way. Once carefully selected and harvested, the grapes are transported to the cellar dug into the tuff, where the pure vinification begins. In order to preserve the typical freshness and acidity of this vine, the refinement phase takes place exclusively in steel tanks, to be completed directly in the bottle. For this reason, Grechetto Salviano Umbria PGI should be enjoyed shortly after bottling, in order to fully savor its liveliness.
