Large Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

From the Marsanne grape variety comes this Hermitage Blanc de l'Oree, one of the best white wines of the Rhône Valley, produced by the Michel Chapoutier maison. The vineyards from which this white wine comes were planted 60/70 years ago in the parcel of Les Murets. The Marsanne grape variety is an ancient and native grape of the region. These lands owned by the Michel Chapoutier winery offer an ideal temperate climate for the correct ripening of the grapes. The soil here is of alluvial origin, full of debris. The vinification of this Hermitage Blanc de l'Oree is articulated and complex with regular battonage for 6 months. The wine is then aged in barrels for 10/12 months with frequent tastings. The structure of this white is such that it can be enjoyed immediately or "forgotten" in the cellar for many, many years: time will constantly improve its sensorial aspects in order to be kept. Depending on the vintage, this wine can be kept in the cellar for between 30 and 60 years and up to 75 years. An important added value of this important winery is the absolute respect for nature: for this reason, the company produces its wines following the principles of agriculture and biodynamic production.
