Cognac 'Moulin Rouge' XO JEAN FILLIOUX 70 Cl Luxury Case

Cognac Moulin Rouge XO is one of Jean Fillioux's extra luxury products. The Jean Fillioux distillery is based in Juillac-le-Coq, in the center of the French Grande Champagne district (the beating heart of the production of this distillate, nothing to do with sparkling wine). Cognac Moulin Rouge XO is produced from white grapes of the Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Colombard vines. The calcareous soil is the ideal habitat for these grapes to grow luxuriantly. The harvest takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October; subsequently the harvested grapes are transported to the distillery where, given the particularly delicate nature of these fruits, the company uses the Charentais discontinuous alembic: the only one able to keep the aromas of the grapes intact during double distillation. Once this phase is completed, the cognac is left to age in French oak barriques for no less than twenty-five years. Once the bottle has been uncorked, one can appreciate an intense, elegant product with a very fine bouquet. Warm and engaging, soft sip, which varies from minute to minute, changing the olfactory and gustatory sensations: real fun for the senses!
