Glass
It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

Hengst Alsace AOC is a high quality white wine made by the Zind Humbrecht maison, a famous Alsace winery. France is a country famous all over the world for the value of its labels and for the variety of its wine productions. The Hengst Grand Cru is located in the Wintzenheim area, where rains are, strangely, rare and the microclimate is rather dry and hot. The good presence of marl and limestone in the soil completes the ideal conditions for the growth of Gewürztraminer, the grape at the base of Alsace AOC. The manual selection of the ripest bunches, therefore with the most intense sugar content, is carried out in October. The maceration is followed by a period of aging on the fine lees in oak barrels, for a period of no less than 12 months. The resulting Hengst Alsace AOC is a decidedly precious product, endowed with an intense structure and extraordinary personality. It is aromatic and soft; persuasive notes of exotic fruit, candied citrus fruits. Elegant, of great intensity and enveloping, with a finish of very long persistence. Still undoubtedly young, but ready today. Great longevity, in perspective.
