Mezcal Anejo is a brandy produced by the Mexican company Lágrimas de Dolores. In the Mexican state of Durango, located in the north-central part of the country, mezcal, distilled from a variety of local agave, has been produced since time immemorial. The Gutierrez family, owner of Lágrimas de Dolores, adopts a production process based on respecting the strictest quality control rules for this product. At the same time, references to Mexican tradition and culture are an integral part of each production step. After the maceration of the plant, the distillation is divided into two phases, from the second of which the base destined to become mezcal is obtained. The Mezcal Anejo is left to age for a long time inside American white oak barrels, in order to reach an extraordinary complexity, from a sensorial point of view. Precisely by virtue of its multifaceted scents, it is ideal to be enjoyed alone in purity, to appreciate every single note.
