Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

The Verona Rosso IGT Secco-Bertani Vintage Edition produced by the Bertani winery, one of the most important wineries in Valpolicella, is a thick red wine made from a vinification of Corvina grapes (80%), Sangiovese grapes (10%), Syrah grapes (5%) and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes (5%). A label, that of the Verona Rosso IGT Secco-Bertani Vintage Edition, born from the more than faithful reproduction of the packaging from the 1930s, which then finds concreteness in the original recipe of a wine that calls for the use of native and non-native grapes. Once harvested, the grapes undergo a long cold maceration, before being drawn off and left to ferment in wood; after which they mature in typical Veronese traditional chestnut or cherry wood barrels. The result is a robust and very satisfying red wine, soft, fresh and balanced, which is characterized by its good concentration and excellent persistence. This IGT has received several awards and recognitions from industry critics, including two glasses from Gambero Rosso.
