The Alea Ludendo Aleatico dell'Elba Passito DOCG from the Tenuta delle Ripalte winery is a sweet wine made from 100% Aleatico grapes. The cultivation area of the grapes is on the tip of the Ripalte, in Poggio Turco, in the municipality of Capoliveri. The cellar produces typical wines of the island of Elba from native vines. The bunches of Aleatico are harvested manually at the beginning of September, when they have reached full maturity and subsequently the drying on racks takes place. This phase lasts about seven days and takes place with the grapes directly exposed to the sun. Bottling takes place in the summer following the harvest. Alea Ludendo Aleatico dell'Elba Passito DOCG is a wine endowed with notable personality and strong character. It is ready for immediate tasting, but has such qualities that it can be refined and evolved over time.
