Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description
Badia a Passignano Chianti Classico Gran Selezione is a DOCG red from Tuscany. From 100% Sangiovese grapes, it is the fruit of the best production in the reference year. The grapes used come exclusively from the homonymous company of the historic Antinori cellar, dedicated to wine production since the 14th century. The vineyards grow on the calcareous substrates typical of the Chianti Classico and develop in a cordon at an altitude between 250 and 300 metres. Selection of the best autochthonous clonal varieties from the nearby Tenuta Tignanello, the vines have developed peculiar characteristics of the terroir. An ancient vine, Sangiovese has a deep bond with the Tuscan territory. The bunches, with an intense black-purple colour, are harvested by hand and separated by vineyard. The Badia a Passignano Gran Selezione ages in Hungarian oak barriques for at least twelve months, in the ancient cellars where it expresses the potential for refinement. After carefully selected blending, the wine continues to mature in the bottle.
