Description
Prosecco Bandarossa "Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry Millesimato Bortolomiol" is a production of the Bortolomiol winery , one of the main producers of prosecco in the Venetian hills of Valdobbiadene. The first vine cultivations on these lands date back to the end of the 18th century and can be attributed to the activity of Bartolomeo Bortolomiol, who passed on his passion to the following generations, up to Giuliano Bortomiol, who transformed this passion into one of the most renowned Italian companies producing sparkling wine. Today the winery is proudly managed by his four daughters. The hills of Valdobbiadene are embroidered with these elegant vineyards, which thrive also thanks to the temperate climate. Bandarossa "Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry Millesimato Bortolomiol" , whose name derives from the sign traced by Giuliano Bortomiol on the best bottles of Prosecco of the year, comes from the best grapes selected from the 20 vineyards from which the "Bandarossa Prosecco superiore DOCG" is produced . The grapes undergo a longer Charmat sparkling process, i.e. they remain in contact with the lees for over three months, after which they are left to rest in the bottle for another four months before they can be tasted; the end result is an elegant and truly refined wine.
