Recommended glass
Glass
Large Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

The Baroness Nadine Western Cape wine is produced by the Rupert & Rothschild winery, born in 1997 from the passion of Baron Rothschild and the Rupert family for the art of winemaking, in a dedicated and historic place for winemaking in South Africa. All the vines on the property are "international", found in a valley at the foot of Simonsberg Mountain. The Baroness Nadine Western Cape is a 100% Chardonnay which is then aged for 10 months in 300 liter first and second passage French oak barrels (barriques). The result is an important wine, significant and worthy bearer of the cellar, with excellent aging potential. In the glass it is golden, with hints of tropical fruit, soft and persuasive and with toasted hints that recall the passage in wood immediately in the refinement. On the palate it is round, intense, with a good body and still softness and yellow fruit. Optimal!
