Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Bin 389 "Cabernet Shiraz Penfolds " is produced from grapes that ripen under the sun of the Adelaide plain, in southern Australia, where the Barossa Valley is formed, land of the best Shiraz in the world. The area has a Mediterranean climate that varies from the heat of the valley floor to cooling at the higher altitudes of the hills surrounding the valley, low humidity and rainfall. Bin 389 "Cabernet Shiraz Penfolds " combines the robust nature of Cabernet grapes with the intensity of Shiraz; the first vintage of "Bin 389" was vinified in 1960 by the legendary Penfolds winemaker Max Schubert. It is a wine that combines the structure of cabernet with the richness of shiraz. Structured, important, rich and powerful, it is a wine that is ready today, but which has significant potential and will give great satisfaction tomorrow.
