'Blanc de Blancs' Spumante English Sparkling Wine Brut Nyetimber 2016

The Nyetimber Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine from the Nyetimber winery is produced using exclusively fine Chardonnay grapes. The vineyards are located on the English hills between West Sussex and Hampshire, where the sea breeze mitigates the climate in an excellent way and the fertility of the soil allows the vines to grow optimally and produce quality grapes. This relatively young winery is establishing itself more and more as a point of reference in the production of "bubbles" of particular value, absolutely up to par with French bottles. To produce the Nyetimber Blanc de Blanc brut sparkling wine, each production phase must be followed with particular scruple. The harvest takes place in order to select only the best grapes which will then be sent to fermentation. Maturation takes place for a long period on lees before refining in glass. In this way a refined and elegant sparkling wine is obtained, excellent to drink, perfectly balanced, ideal to serve both as an aperitif and during a dinner.
