'Campo Dottore' Riesling Riserva Oltrepò Pavese DOC Bio Mon Carul - Calatroni 2022

Campo Dottore Riesling Riserva Oltrepò Pavese DOC Bio Mon Carul is a mineral white wine produced by the Calatroni winery. It is the result of the single-variety vinification of only Riesling Renano grapes, which has adapted perfectly to cultivation on these lands. On the vineyards located 300 meters above sea level, the vines enjoy the benefits deriving from the strong temperature ranges and the considerable calcareous component of the substrate. When they reach maturity, the healthiest bunches are selected and harvested by hand. Both the fermentation and the subsequent refinement take place in steel tanks, a material that allows the unmistakable notes of the vine to be preserved. In the spring following the harvest, the wine rests for more than a month in the bottle before being marketed. Campo Dottore Riesling Riserva Oltrepò Pavese DOC Bio Mon Carul is meant to be appreciated shortly after bottling to savor all its fresh minerality.
