Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

The Chianti Classico Casanuova di Nittardi red wine from the Nittardi winery is obtained using fine Sangiovese grapes to which a small part of Canaiolo grapes is added. The vineyards are located in the heart of the Sienese hills, where the particular combination of the soil structure rich in mineral salts and the sea breezes that mitigate the climate allow the vines to grow optimally. This company has for years been involved in the production of quality wines by enhancing the territory and using artisan techniques with modern technologies. The production of the Chianti Classico Casanuova di Nittardi wine requires a precise production process that starts with the harvest during which only the best bunches are selected. Fermentation takes place in large steel tanks followed by long-term maturation in oak barrels before refining in glass. In this way a robust and full-bodied wine is obtained, perfectly balanced, excellent to drink, ideal for consumption in a formal dinner.
