Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Chardonnay Friuli Grave DOC is a terroir wine, which loses its conventionality by purchasing what is best offered by a unique territory such as Friuli. This white of considerable interest is offered by the historic Sacile Conte Brandolini D'adda farm, which makes use of the precious collaboration of the oenologist Georges Pauli. The label takes shape from the vinification of 100% Chardonnay grapes, the fruit of vines grown in the soils of the pre-Alpine belt, between the provinces of Udine and Pordenone. The vines, as well as benefiting from the typicality of the alluvial plains soils, combined with the imposing presence of stones, also benefit from strong temperature variations. Chardonnay Friuli Grave DOC comes from a careful harvest that chooses only the best grapes. After harvesting, the bunches are transported to the cellar, where they first macerate briefly in contact with the skins, and then ferment. This is followed by a period of maturation in steel for 4 months. The finished product is a fresh and very pleasant white. An aromatic label, the varietal note of chardonnay, or tropical fruit, emerges for its slight mineral nuance and for its intriguing persistence. Excellent as an aperitif, but not only.
