Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Chateau Malmaison is a still red wine produced by the famous French winery Baron Edmond de Rothschild. Obtained from a blend of typical vines of the area, specifically 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, this intense and very structured red perfectly represents the Bordeaux area and the denomination to which it belongs. The grapes from which this important and precious red wine is obtained derive the maximum benefit from the calcareous-clay based soils on which they arise. The attention to quality is evident in every step, but above all in the harvest phase, which is carried out strictly manually, to then move on to a further selection of the grapes after a more accurate visual examination. Following the vinification, which takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, the wine is aged in new oak barriques. The Chateau Malmaison is a classic 'Bordeaux' style, round, soft, intense, with an excellent structure, an elegant tannic texture and a long final persistence: ideal to be enjoyed in the context of an important dinner.
