Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Clos Des Feves Beaune 1er Cru is a wine produced by Maison Chanson Pere & Fils, a cellar with very ancient origins, already founded in 1705. We are in Burgundy, and precisely in the Cote de Beaune, land of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Here the greatest wines in the world are born. The Clos Des Feves Beaune 1er Cru is a 100% Pinot Noir: curiously, the grapes that benefit from this "brackish" terroir are seedless. After harvesting, they undergo a first cold fermentation, followed by a second, long fermentation aimed at ensuring maximum extraction of color and substances. After a two-week whole bunch fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels in the old 15th century cellars, for a period of 15-18 months, with a moderate proportion of new barrels. The Clos Des Feves Beaune 1er Cru is broad and well balanced; it is characterized by elegant tannins and an excellent persistence which encloses, at the end of the sip, all the preciousness of this great red.
