Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

The Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Costamolino from the Argiolas winery is a white wine produced from 100% Vermentino grapes, the result of vineyards planted on soil with a rather varied granulometric and chemical-physical composition. The vineyards that rise on the Trexente slope of Pranu Sturru, in the countryside of Suelli, and in that of Perda Campus in the countryside of Selegas, enjoy the typical Sardinian Mediterranean climate, made up of mild and little rainy winters and windy and very hot summers. To make Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Costamolino, the grapes, after careful selection, are harvested only and exclusively by hand in the early hours of the morning; after which they are subjected to a soft pressing in the cellar, then the must is cooled; a fermentation process follows in steel tanks at a controlled temperature ranging from 16°C to 18°C, then, before being bottled, the wine undergoes a short refinement which always takes place in steel tanks. The result is a Vermentino with a fresh and inviting sapidity, a balanced and very fine wine.
