Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

The Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Costera is a red known worldwide. This label, produced by the Sardinian winery Argiolas, founded in Serdiana (in the province of Cagliari) in 1938, has almost become synonymous with Cannonau wine beyond the island's borders. Obtained from a blend composed of Cannonau and in small percentages of Bovale (or Bovaleddu) and Carignagno, this interesting red comes from the fruits of vines grown on hilly terrain, rich in clay and limestone fragments, kissed by the benevolent influence of the Mediterranean climate, characterized by mild winters with little rain and windy and particularly hot summers. After a careful harvest, the bunches transported to the cellar undergo a process of maceration on the skins for about 10 days, after which they ferment in vitrified cement tanks. Subsequently, the Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Costera ages in oak barrels for a variable period ranging from 8 to 10 months. After which, it is bottled, then it ages again in glass for a short time. The final product is a red with a warm and round sip. A perfectly balanced wine, for a spicy label, with discreet softness and good structure.
