Falerno del Massico DOP Bianco, produced by Fattoria Villa Matilde, is a delicate and balanced white wine, characterized by a rich and velvety taste. The winery, located in the province of Caserta, was born from a deep interest in the recovery of native vines: Falerno, like wine, was considered by the ancient Romans to be the wine par excellence, an authentic heavenly gift. In fact, the company is considered a real symbol of the rebirth of Falerno in the modern era. Falerno del Massico DOP Bianco is made from 100% Falanghina grapes, harvested by hand and left to macerate at very low temperatures. The vine in question, originally from Taburno, is closely linked to the Campania region and is used for the production of refined, high-class wines. The excellent quality of the grapes is due not only to the recovery of traditional agricultural techniques, but also to the peculiar composition of the soil in the area, rich in mineral salts and nutrients.
