Description

Vin Santo di Montepulciano DOC Familiae is a sweet passito wine, produced by the Poderi Boscarelli winery, a small historical production company in Tuscany, which produces Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG and extra virgin olive oil with Protected Designation of Origin. This label takes shape from a blend of Malvasia, Grechetto and Trebbiano grapes, the fruit of vineyards that enjoy the benevolent influence of a ventilated microclimate. Cultivated on soils of alluvial origin at 300 meters above sea level, the vines produce high quality fruit, an essential basis for producing wines capable of making a difference. Vin Santo di Montepulciano DOC Familiae is a very ancient wine, which is made by the cellar with the highest respect for the Tuscan tradition. After harvesting, the grapes, naturally dried on racks, are pressed, then the must is left to ferment in wooden barrels sealed with sealing wax. Finally, it ages in the same containers for a period of time ranging from 4 to 5 years. The end result is a sweet, soft, aromatic and very fruity wine. A label with a velvety sip, which emerges for its excellent persistence, never cloying, perfect meditation wine.
