It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

Pinot Noir Fuchsleiten wine is produced in South Tyrol in the Pfitscherr cellar located just south of Bolzano in the Montagna area. The winery, which has about seven hectares of land planted with vines, has been owned by the Pfitscher family since 1861 and international and native vines are grown, such as Lagrein. Pinot Noir Fuchsleiten wine is produced from red grape berries from the Fuchsleiten vineyard, a Pinot Noir located about 450 meters above sea level, on a very steep slope which enhances its typical qualities. After a natural harvest, Pinot Noir Fuchsleiten is aged first in steel and then in small wooden barrels for a few months. today it is a young wine, but ready: the intense aroma of red and black berries is typical of the "Fuchsleiten" wine that grows in Montagna, known as one of the most? suitable for this variety. On the palate it has a full, balanced and persistent taste with brilliant ruby nuances. It has interesting aging potential if left to rest in the cellar for a few years.
