Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Dea Vulcano Etna Rosso DOC is a wine with persistent aromas from Donnafugata , a winery that aims to enhance the denomination. This wine is mainly obtained from Nerello Mascalese grapes, to which is added a small percentage of Nerello Cappuccio grapes. Both autochthonous varieties achieve extraordinary results on the northern slope of the volcano, whose lands give a complex sensory profile to the bunches. To guarantee high standards, the hand harvest involves a selection of the best grapes. In the cellar, the processes begin with the fermentation in steel, which includes maceration on the skins and lasts for about 10 days. The subsequent refinement lasts a year and takes place half in cement tanks and the remaining half in oak barrels at the second and third passage. Dea Vulcano Etna Rosso DOC can be enjoyed shortly after bottling, or stored with care for up to a maximum of 5 years in the cellar.
