It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Vegro Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC is an intense red wine produced by the Venetian winery Brigaldara . It is obtained from a blend of local grapes, including Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. To these vines is added 10% of other native red berried varieties. The vines are cultivated with the Veronese pergola system and with the Guyot system, two methods that make it possible to make the most of the already favorable conditions of the owned vineyards. After the manual harvest, the grapes are destemmed and left to ferment. Subsequently, a review of the Amarone pomace is foreseen. By virtue of the sugar residues, a second fermentation takes place which does not last longer than five days and allows to give structure and complexity to the wine. For the refinement, the wine rests for a year and a half in Slavonian oak barrels until bottling. Vegro Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC is excellent to be enjoyed immediately, as well as after a further evolution of 5-6 years.
