Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Great wine by Giulia Negri, the Barolo DOCG "La Tartufaia" which is a blend of Nebbiolo grapes from areas (Cru, as the French call them) with very different characteristics; when it comes to great wines, even apparent nuances make the difference, such as the territory, which becomes a decisive factor in giving, for example, power to the wine (the Brunate Cru, a territory with early maturity, rich in mineral salts which accentuate the differentiation of aromas) and finesse, such as the Serradenari Cru, with delayed maturity and marked minerality. The wine ferments with a long maceration on the skins, and then rests in tonneaux and oak barrels for at least 30 months. A great Barolo that expresses the characteristics of the vineyards of origin in a balanced synthesis of power and elegance.
