Le Matinè Fiano Puglia IGP is a wine produced at the Grifo di Ruvo di Puglia winery. The company founded in 1960 is one of the most prestigious wineries in the area, thanks to the passion and dedication and meticulous work in the vineyard. The grapes come from the Fiano vines, grown on soils rich in limestone and clay and favored by the mild climate of Puglia. The training system used is that of the spurred cordon. After the harvest, which takes place during the first days of September, the grapes are taken to the cellar and subjected to the crushing and destemming process, then they are macerated in the press for about 6 hours, in order to extract the aromas from the skins. The subsequent fermentation takes place in steel containers, while the refinement takes place on the lees for 60 days. The final phase involves further refinement in the bottle for a period of 2 months. Le Matinè Fiano Puglia PGI is an intense and fresh wine, perfect for immediate drinking.
