'Lidia' Chardonnay Piedmont DOC La Spinetta 2020

Lidia Chardonnay Piemonte DOC is a fragrant white wine from the La Spinetta winery. It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of Chardonnay grapes, an international variety that finds in these areas an ideal environment to thrive. The vineyard is located near Mango, where the vines sink their roots into marly substrates rich in sand. When they reach the optimal level of ripeness, the bunches are carefully selected and harvested by hand. In line with the traditional style, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak vats. The subsequent refinement involves two phases, the first of which involves a rest of a year and a half in oak barrels. After bottling, the wine seals its aromas in glass for about 6 months before being put on the market. Lidia Chardonnay Piemonte DOC can already be appreciated when young, even if it manages to pleasantly surprise after resting for a couple of years in the cellar.
