Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

Harmonious and well structured, Liranu is undoubtedly a product of excellent quality, it is not for nothing that in 2018 it was awarded the certificate of excellence during the Merano Wine Awards. This wine sees the light in the splendid natural setting of Salento, by the Conti Zecca company, present in the area for over five centuries (and with 320 hectares of estates). This red originates from a monovarietal blend; in fact, it is made up of 100% Negroamaro del Salento, a vine grown almost exclusively in Puglia and from which the famous rock band takes its name. The soil where the spurred cordon cultivation takes place is medium-textured, sometimes even calcareous, and the harvest is first followed by a period of maceration for about ten days, then a period of fermentation and finally a period of maturation in oak barrels . This Liranu (with PGI denomination - Protected Geographical Indication) is suitable for any type of occasion without ever disappointing expectations. On the other hand, one cannot expect less when one works with passion.
