Glass
It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

This Mathias Sauvignon is a fresh, sincere and direct white like the land it comes from: the steep vineyards of Alto Adige. The Pfitscher family winery works the vines sparingly, with sweat and manual labor. Mathias Sauvignon comes from land located 900 meters above sea level, in the municipality of Fié allo Sciliar. In this beautiful mountain landscape, the Sauvignon grapes grow lush and strong. Here the terroir has ideal conditions, with a soil of sandy and calcareous rock which gives the wine a pleasant mineral note. The temperature ranges allow for the ideal ripening of the bunches, preserving their aroma and freshness. To be vinified, this red is left to macerate for six hours before being pressed. Fermentation takes place in oak and steel barrels with natural yeasts and aging in glass bottles. A ready-to-drink wine with a strong structure and a persistent taste.
