Glass
It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Merì from the Argiolas winery is a white wine that perfectly expresses the winemaking culture of the south of the island. A dry white produced from the careful selection of only Vermentino grapes, harvested manually in the Trexentesi S'Elegas estates, between the Guamaggiore and Suelli countryside. The espalier-trained vines in a calcareous-clayey soil, at about 200 meters above sea level, enjoy the excellent influence of the Mediterranean climate, characterized by mild winters with little rainfall and very hot and windy summers. Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Merì is produced from early harvested grapes which are subjected to refrigeration in the vineyard; then after a soft pressing, the various vinification phases follow which, to avoid any oxidation phenomenon, take place strictly at low temperatures. Fermentation and maturation both take place in stainless steel tanks; after which the wine is bottled and placed on the market. The result is a round and particularly enveloping white, a wine that perfectly expresses the Sardinian territory.
