Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
Mjere Bianco Salento PGI is a wine produced by the Apulian winery Michele Calò & Figli . It is obtained from the vinification of grapes of the native Verdeca vine, to which a smaller percentage of Chardonnay is added. The vineyards are cultivated with the traditional sapling system. On the Salento lands, composed largely of rock, tuff and clay, the vines sink their roots to find the necessary nourishment. The early harvest takes place at the beginning of September, which allows for the selection and collection of bunches that retain good acidity. Once in the cellar, the grapes are gently pressed. The subsequent alcoholic fermentation involves monitoring the temperature and lasts about a week. As with winemaking, aging also takes place in steel vats, where the wine rests for a few months before bottling. Mjere Bianco Salento PGI is a ready-to-drink wine, to be enjoyed young to savor aromas and freshness.
