Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured rosé wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
Mjere Rosato Salento PGI is a wine with unmistakable aromas made by the Michele Calò & Figli winery. The label is mainly obtained from the vinification of Negroamaro grapes, to which is added 10% of Malvasia Nera grapes. The vineyards are divided between Tuglie, Sannicola and Alezio. Thanks to the tufa substrate, the vines grow luxuriantly until the manual harvest, scheduled for the beginning of September. In the cellar, we opt for the millenary technique known as Lacrima, by virtue of which the grapes are lightly pressed to extract the color from the skins. The temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation lasts about a week and takes place in large stainless steel tanks. The wine remains in the same containers for the refinement phase, which lasts until the spring following the harvest. Mjere Rosato Salento PGI is a wine that lends itself to giving great satisfaction already after bottling, when the varietal notes strongly emerge.
