Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description
The Mongovone Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG proposed by the Elio Perrone winery is a noble wine with a strong personality. Made exclusively with 100% pure Barbera, it comes to life in the homonymous locality Mongovone. The vineyards are located in the province of Asti, on an area that has been dedicated for centuries to the production of great red wines. The excellent sun exposure, combined with a soil with a favorable mineral composition, allows for optimal ripening of the Barbera bunches, which come from over 80-year-old vines. The production follows a rigorous disciplinary, in which quality prevails over quantity. To allow the Piedmontese red to best express its qualities, it is necessary to subject the wine to a long refinement. For this process, specific oak barriques are selected, in which the wine rests for at least twelve months. The final result is excellent and gives a fresh and fruity Mongovone Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG , with excellent structure, persistence, acidity and therefore longevity.
