The Chambave Superieur Quatre Vignobles La Crotta di Vegneron comes from an assembly of typical vines of the Aosta Valley, in which Petit Rouge prevails, at least 70% and in smaller percentages Gamay, Pinot Noir, Fumin and other native vines of the region. The Crotta di Vegneron winery is a cooperative of local winemakers, born in the eighties with the specific mission of enhancing the local vines, preserving the typical features that derive from the various terroirs in which they are grown. An altitude between 500 and 900 m above sea level and a microclimate where the temperature ranges are very accentuated, while rainfall is scarce, make possible the perfect ripening of the grapes which are, thus, characterized by high organoleptic qualities which are found, then, in wines such as the Chambave Superieur Quatre Vignobles La Crotta di Vegneron. It is also the result of a fermentation in steel and a subsequent refinement of 12 months in barrique and another 5 months in bottle. It is a complex wine, with an intense, dry and delicate ruby red colour, suitable for important meals and convivial moments.
