Lugana San Vigilio is a white wine that boasts the Denomination of Controlled Origin. It was born in Podere Selva Capuzza, a company that has been active for about one hundred years in the wine sector, among the rolling hills of the morainic amphitheater located south of Lake Garda. Here good ventilation guarantees low humidity conditions, necessary for the production of extremely healthy grapes. Lugana San Vigilio is obtained from the vinification of Turbiana (or Trebbiano di Soave) grapes, a vine of ancient native origin of this area. The manual harvest takes place in advance of the full ripening of the grapes and the fermentation takes place in steel containers. The wine obtained is fresh and fragrant, slightly mineral. Although it is a young wine, it can potentially be aged in the bottle for up to 10 years, thus acquiring greater depth. This well-balanced wine will be able to get noticed in an aperitif with friends or in a light dinner on warm summer evenings.
