'Stoass' Gewurztraminer Alto Adige/South Tyrol DOC Pfitscher 2023

Stoass Gewurztraminer Alto Adige is a wine that expresses all the aromatic strength and structure of the Gewurztraminer vine. The Pfitscher winery has been cultivating the lands of Bassa Atesina in Alto Adige for over 150 years, an area devoted to the production of great wines. This white comes from ancient vineyards in the municipality of Egna. A soil rich in sand and gravel transported downstream, over the years, by the Rio Trodena. Here the bunches of Gewürztraminer, a pink grape variety with an intense aroma, find the ideal conditions for ripening. Following the ancient wine tradition, the Pfitscher family carries out the harvest rigorously by hand, without the aid of machinery. The grapes are fermented for a few days in steel barrels and aged in oak barrels with natural yeasts. Stoass Gewurztraminer Alto Adige is an elegant and enveloping wine with a well-balanced sensory structure.
