Salento Aglianico IGT "Terra" is a product of the Conti Zecca winery, whose origins date back to the distant 1500s. Centuries of history blend with the most innovative agricultural techniques and modern cultivation methods, aimed at preserving the environment and limiting the human intervention in nature as much as possible. Each phase of the manufacturing process is carefully monitored, a factor which determines the excellent quality of the red in question. Salento Aglianico IGT "Terra" is 85% made from Aglianico vines, originating in Greece and present in Italy since the 7th century BC. The remaining 15% is represented by Negroamaro grapes, typical of Puglia and widespread throughout southern Italy . Salento, the area where the winery is located, is characterized by a particularly favorable climate for viticulture, by virtue of its mildness and the breeze that blows from the sea. A wine with an important body and a velvety taste, Salento Aglianico IGT "Terra" is closely linked to its territory, as can also be seen from the name. The particular and intriguing taste of the wine is due to the long refinement process, which takes place first in barriques and then in the bottle.
