'The Defenses' Tuscany IGT Tenuta San Guido 2023

The Le Difese red wine from the Tenuta San Guido winery is produced along the Livorno coast, precisely in a district with a very high wine vocation such as that of Bolgheri. It is the result of the skilful blend of two grape varieties: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Sangiovese. Vinified in steel, it is then aged for about a year in French and American oak barriques. After this period it is left to rest for another 3 months in the bottle. Le Difese is a well-structured and very pleasant wine, an easy-to-drink wine, suitable for all palates and for many occasions. Of course, it goes perfectly with traditional Tuscan dishes, but also as an accompaniment to a classic Italian aperitif or antipasto.
