It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description
The Barbera d'Alba DOC Vigna Martina from the Piedmontese farm Elio Grasso is a great red wine that perfectly describes the enological world of the Langhe. Fruit of the vinification of 100% Barbera grapes from 30-year-old vineyards, this red has obtained various awards, including that of the Vitae AIS Guide which defined it as one of the best wines ever. A terroir wine for a Barbera that is excellent to drink young and exceptional if left to rest in the cellar for 3-4 years. To make the Barbera d'Alba DOC Vigna Martina the grapes undergo vinification in steel and a subsequent refinement of one year in new and used oak barriques, at the end of which it is bottled. However, before being placed on the market it must still mature in the bottle for at least 8 months. The result is an intense and particularly rich Barbera. A complex, soft and full wine, for a well-structured red that stands out for its excellent persistence.
