Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The Barolo Vigna Rionda red wine from the Oddero winery is obtained from the exclusive use of fine Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyards are located on the hills around the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba and grow optimally thanks to the combination of the particular structure of the soil, rich in nutrients, and the very favorable microclimatic conditions. With a tradition of almost a century, this winery is a point of reference in the wine sector thanks to the production of wines of exceptional quality. To produce the Barolo Vigna Rionda wine, each phase of the production cycle is treated with particular attention. The harvest is done by hand, in order to select only the very ripe bunches. After fermentation, there is a long period of aging in Slavonian oak barrels before refining in glass. The result is a wine with an excellent structure, enveloping and well balanced, with a great personality, ideal for accompanying a cheerful dinner with friends.
