The Grüner Veltliner Vom Haus is one of the most popular labels of the Weingut R&A Pfaffl company, an important Austrian wine company. The Alpine country is not exactly known for the production of wines, but the maison demonstrates that quality enology can also be carried out in the land of beer. The main estates are located in the state of Niederösterreich. The basis of the product is the 100% pure Grüner Veltliner blend, a quality of native Austrian light berry grape. The temperate climate and the soil rich in löss, an aeolian sediment widespread throughout the Alps, create the ideal conditions for the growth of excellent bunches. Once the best grapes have been selected, they are destemmed and cold pressed. Fermentation at controlled temperature is followed by refinement in steel containers for at least 3 months, before bottling and further aging in the cellar.
