The 1770 Single Malt Peated Scotch Whiskey is a label produced by Glasgow Distillery with the intention of paying homage to the homonymous company, founded towards the end of the eighteenth century. The modern productive reality intends to bring the ancient glories to the Scottish port city. From this will comes the choice to produce an exclusive single malt, capable of interpreting the tradition handed down from the ancient distillery. It follows that the production process does not differ from the one perfected centuries ago. This naturally colored Scotch whiskey is made from a blend of local barley and Loch Katrine water. It is then distilled in copper stills, heated thanks to the action of the peat, which gives it the classic smoky scent. The maturation phase takes place in selected wooden barrels. Once bottled, the 1770 Single Malt Peated Scotch Whiskey can be kept in the cellar for years and tasted on special occasions.
