'448 slm Bianco' Vineyards of the Dolomites IGT Bianco Girlan 2022

From the Cornaiano hills, in Trentino-Alto Adige, comes the 448 Bianco, with the denomination Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT, a simple, fresh and mineral wine with a dry, elegant and soft sip. It is produced by Girlan, whose farm is located 448 meters above sea level. In operation since 1923, the cellar today represents an important avant-garde winemaking reality. The wine is obtained from a blend of historic vines, typical of the production area (Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon). The grapes prefer soils rich in minerals, dry and clayey which provide the ideal conditions for an adequate concentration of sugars. The harvesting of the white berries is done manually. After a delicate pressing follows the racking for natural sedimentation of the must. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats. The aging on the lees takes place in stainless steel tanks. The 448, fine and harmonious, is perfect for brightening up an evening with friends, a happy hour or a candlelit dinner.
