Description
496 Frascati Superiore DOC Bio is a white wine with delicate aromas produced by the Lazio winery De Sanctis . It is largely obtained from grapes of the Malvasia di Candia variety, to which is added a percentage equal to 10% of Trebbiano Toscano. The plots are cultivated according to the principles of organic farming and are located near Lake Regillo. Here the vines benefit enormously from the mineral-rich volcanic substrates, as well as from the company's sustainable approach which uses exclusively geothermal energy. During the harvest the bunches are selected by hand. The alcoholic fermentation lasts an average of 18 days and takes place inside steel tanks. In the same containers the wine remains about 5 months to refine, to then further seal its scents for another month in the bottle. 496 Frascati Superiore DOC Bio is designed to be appreciated already after bottling, when the fresh varietal notes emerge.
