Priory - Catalonia 

A more than millenary production tradition, accompanied and supported by a continuous search for innovation, determines the high quality of the wines of Catalonia and places it at the forefront of enology in all of Spain. It has a dozen denominations of origin, each with well-defined characteristics. Numerous wineries have been able to expertly marry native and foreign vines, obtaining results of great personality. Catalonia is also the homeland of Cava , a sparkling wine produced exclusively with the Classic method. Today some international industrial groups and many small wineries produce 230 million bottles of Cava a year, more than half of which are exported. Within the area we find an area of qualitative election, the Priory : old and robust vines that are born and grow a lot within the province of Tarragona; the dark Mazuela grape is the key to today's Prioratos. To a lesser extent, Garnacha is also grown. From these two varieties, wisely blended, those garnet-colored reds are born, robust, with a dense and rich flavor and a very intense aroma, truly typical.
