Sweet but not too much, the Passito Acininobili Veneto IGT from the Maculan winery is the perfect after-meal for those who love naturalness and elegance. Marked by a lively and intense aromatic profile, it is made up of 100% Vespaiola quality grapes of which only raisin grapes from the noble Botritis Cinerea rot are selected. The important structure of the wine is enhanced and embellished by the complexity of the noble rot and acidified at the right point by the particular composition of the soil in which the vineyards are grown. We are in fact in the Breganze area, in the shade of the Asiago hills, where a volcanic soil rich in tuff offers nourishment to the golden Vespaiola berries. Furthermore, the positive hilly exposure, the mild climate of the Vicenza area and the passion of the Maculans, who combine attention to the present with the traditions of a family of winemakers for generations, intensify the value of the Passito Acininobili Veneto IGT. The care placed in the breeding and selection of the grapes is the same that accompanies the wine in the cellar, where it rests for 24 months in barriques and 12 months in glass. On the nose we find exuberant aromas of honey, dried fruit, raisins and sweet spices. On the palate it is rich, sweet, full-bodied, intense and enveloping, with excellent persistence.
